Here are the first 20 Architectural Inspirations for this year in one easy summary list. Let me know what projects I am missing that I should feature. #105architecturalinspirations

#105architecturalinspirations is a collection of architectural details, buildings, and spaces that inspire me. I am taking on the challenge of finding two projects to spotlight each week in 2015. Hopefully I will be able to keep up and this process of discovery will push me to create better design solutions for my clients as I research and learn more about those projects I enjoy most. I challenge you to add your comments below about this project and to post your own inspirations for all to enjoy.

Per your request of suggestions of “missing” exemplary architecture: I’m inspired by the designs of Eero Saarinen; my favorite is his chapel on the M.I.T. campus. I also love the creative work of Peter Bohlin (of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson) who, like Saarinen, designs highly thoughtful work without the constraint of a consistent style. Each gem is unique in time and in its context.
