Green Term Defined: Karst Topography

Karst Topography is an area of irregular limestone in which erosion has produced fisures, sinkholes, underground streams and caverns. Overtime these underground streams and fisures can change and widen. The major issue is that these underground structural systems cannot be seen until it reaches the surface.
